The books and this site
The text, cover art, and other content of The Second Bond series, and everything on this website, belong to Luke McNamara unless otherwise credited. Reviewing my books, quoting brief passages, and sharing the cover art for the purpose of a review, reaction, or recommendation is always welcome and needs no permission from me. What I ask is that you not reproduce or redistribute the full text or art, or use it commercially, without reaching out through the contact page first.
Store orders
Store purchases are processed securely through Stripe. I never see or store your full card details. Prices are listed in US dollars and include shipping. Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it. Orders currently ship within the US only, and ship within three business days of your order. Product availability can change - an item marked "Sold out" is temporarily out of stock and may be restocked at a later date.
If an item sells out while your order is going through (for example, two people buy the last copy at the same moment), or a price on the site turns out to be wrong, I'll let you know and refund you in full.
Returns and refunds
Every signed copy is packed by hand, so all sales are final once an order ships, except where the item arrives damaged or defective.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or never arrives, contact me within 30 days of the delivery date (or expected delivery date, if it never showed up). A photo of the damage is usually all I need - you will not be asked to ship anything back. I will send a replacement or a full refund, whichever you would rather have, at no extra cost to you.
Because these are signed items, I am not able to offer refunds or exchanges for a change of mind after an order ships.
Giveaways
Giveaways are run through KingSumo. Each giveaway has its own official rules, shown on its entry form, covering who can enter, how long it runs, the prize, and how the winner is chosen. Those rules govern that giveaway, and where they differ from these terms, the rules win. No purchase is ever necessary to enter. Winners are contacted by email, and a prize that goes unclaimed may be awarded to another entrant as the rules describe.
ARC and street teams
ARC and street team members receive free advance copies of my books. A free copy never comes with a requirement to leave a positive review, so please share your honest opinion. When you review a book you received for free, say so in the review (for example, "I received a free advance copy"), as the FTC and most review sites require. Advance copies are for your own reading, so please don't share, upload, or sell them. I may remove someone from a team at any time, for example if an advance copy is shared.
Using this site
Please don't try to break into, overload, or interfere with this site, its forms, or its store, or use automated tools to flood its forms or copy it in bulk.
Book details and links to other sites
Book details on this site (formats, page counts, release dates, and similar) are provided for convenience and may change; the retailer's listing is always the final word. This site links to other websites, like Amazon and Goodreads, that I don't control and am not responsible for. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases made through links on this site.
No warranty
This site and its contents are provided as-is. I make a good-faith effort to keep everything accurate and working, but I cannot guarantee the site will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of this site or purchase of its products, beyond the price you paid for the order in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms as the site or store changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
